The class begins with an introduction to the fascinating history of glass-making, which is said to have started as early as 1500 B.C. in Egypt. Spend most of the 1-hour-plus class hands-on: you'll learn to shape glass in the fire by melting it, and creating glass beads for jewelry or accessories.

No previous experience is required. Just patience and desire.
